Midsummer's FestivalOnce again, fair winds on the sea-road have brought us to these lands during the celebration of Midsummer. Drawn to the prospect of good trade, friendly relations and possible plundering of ice-cream merchants, Reik Félag will return with their traveling Village, displays of arts and crafts, weapons, stories, games, and all-around fun for everyone. Vikings invading local retailers in the Greater Vancouver Regional District. There have been numerous reports of Vikings invading local retailers in the GVRD. Most recently they have been spotted looting and pillaging at two Lower Mainland Ikea stores. Witnesses say they were seen ransacking the furniture, rummaging through the fabrics and furs, and noisily ripping into some tasty Barbequed Ribs in the Restaurant while singing songs and waving their arms around. This is not the first time these Raiders have been witnessed running amok. There have been reports of other sightings in various locations in recent years, and as newly obtained photographic evidence shows, clearly the invaders strike fear into all they encounter. There have been no reports of injuries to the public or property. With the exception of liberating some ice-cream, the merchants were spared this time around. Stay Tuned... |
